Happy Groundhog Day!

I saw these on the Family Fun website and I couldn't resist. Marah thinks we have definitely found a new tradition. We will be munching Phil while we watch the movie "Groundhog Day" tonight. Yum yum!

Cute!

I never remember to watch Groundhog Day on Groundhog Day. (But we did get to go to the open house at the Draper Temple this afternoon, so I guess we can watch the movie another time.)

oh ash! how did you ever give in and let people eat those? they are darling!

Mom ate everything but the face. She couldn't bring herself to eat it because it was too cute (or maybe too disturbing). Grandma Mills ate the whole thing and when someone pointed to that fact she said, "Yeah, it was good!"

haha! I love them! did you guys make the groundhogs or did they come like that?

They are made of Almond Joys, chocolate chips, frosting, and a few judiciously chosen sprinkles.

Marah and I made them.

ha ha, never ending story birthday theme, huh? well, i remember choosing The Little Mermaid for my 10th birthday. Have you watched that cartoon lately? too seductive for maggie's little imaginative mind.

The other day Maggie told me "Mom, you take care of that and leave the freaking out to me..." and I was thinking wha? where did she come up with that... later we were watching Horton Hears a Who and that line? It's one of Horton's. Maggie picks up on EVERYTHING she sees in movies. Nothing goes over her head (or at least past her ears). So I'm the major screener and movie rater in our house.

Hope all is well!
